Star Ship Kitty Kat
by Lucky Charms

Disclaimers: The Misadventures of the Star Ship Kitty Cat was written out of sheer boredom. While there are obviously similarities to a certain popular television show, most everything that happens in the story is completely made up by me. The people's names used in the story, while real, do not do the things that I portray them to do; unless proven otherwise. I have also recieved permission to use their names.

Adult Stuff: There won't be any adult language used in this story. And there won't be any actual sex going on. Kinda doesn't need to be in this story at all. There will be lots of interesting cartoonish violence, but nothing gorey and stuff. This is meant to be a fun story to read!

"Captain's log 369.24.7," Wangfred began. "Today I have received my promotion to a United Federation Captain! Neat huh? Anyway, Admiral Sammy seemed oddly enthusiastic to give me a ship, which happens to be a prototype by the way and I'll be the first one to test it." A wistful look washed over Wangfred's face. "Admiral Sammy must trust me a lot to place, in my hands, a potentially lethal Star Ship and..."

"Will you get on with it?" the computer interrupted. "I don't think people will want to listen to you go on about how the Admiral hopes that the ship will explode and YOU with it!"

"Oh switch off." Wangfred rolled his eyes. "Anyway, my first order of business is to find myself a crew. Though I don't know why I need to do this out in the field seeing as there are many capable bodies back on base. Oh well, at least the Admiral was nice enough to give me some bio's of some potential crew members."

Wangfred sifted through the vast amount of picture ID's given to him by Admiral Sammy and found the one he was looking at earlier. "Computer..."

"What?" the computer snapped.

"Set a course for Amazonia," Wangfred ordered as he shut off his personal diary. "Warp ten sounds good."

"Whatever," the computer responded and in a matter of seconds Wangfred is nearly hurled into a wall by the sudden G-force. The computer snickered.

MAI SHOUSETSU HAJIMEGA ARU: Wangfred to Amazon Jou
Every story has a beginning: Wangfred and the Amazon Queen

Amazonia was a lush, tropical planet in the Womyn Galaxy populated by several tribes of Amazons; all were ruled by a respected tribe leader but there was one Queen of the Amazons.

The Amazons were mostly solitary people and tended to stay within their own territories unless there was a High Council meeting (even then, those are few and far between) or there was a major threat to the people. And today, the High Council was joining to discuss a threat...

"I hate school!" an Amazon screamed as she crumpled up the sheet of paper she had been laboring over for a couple hours. "Why do I have to learn all this stuff?"

"It's your duty as the future Queen of the Amazons," an attendant answered dutifully. "Think of how your mother must feel if she were to see you acting this way."

Lyan grimaced. She hated having to learn anything that didn't involve warfare of some sort. "I'd rather be practicing with my Labyrs right now..," she mumbled.

The attendant frowned. "There has been no war between our people for generations, my Princess and,"

"I know, I know." Lyan rolled her eyes. "But why do you think we're having the problem we are now?"

The attendant sighed. "I know, but we must agree to what the Council decides. Heading off into battle might not be the best answer to our problem. Evil begets evil, they say."

"And all work and no play makes Lyan an irritable Princess," Lyan retorted as she placed her quill down and rose to stretch her legs. "I'm taking a break. Let me know when the Council members get here."

With that, Lyan walked out into the bright afternoon sunshine and let out a yawn and smiled to herself. Being the future Queen sure wasn't all she thought it would be. For one, there was all this work to do. Lyan always thought being a Queen involved sitting around and making people do things for you.

Lyan wanted adventure. She was still young yet, only twenty and wasn't ready for the responsibility of being a Queen. A warm wind blew across Lyan's face and ran through her long brown hair as she looked down at the valley where her tribe stayed and looked back at the large hut that was her home.

Lyan suddenly had the urge to sing. "Look at me, I will never pass for the perfect Queen, or the perfect daughter. Can it be, I'm not meant to play this part? Now I see, that if I were truly to be myself I would break my family's heart..."

Lyan wandered over to a small pool and gazed into her reflection. "Who is that grrl I see? Staring str-...er, back at me? Why is my reflection someone I don't know? Somehow I cannot hide who I am, though I've tried. When will my reflection show, who I am insi-..." When Lyan busted out a powerful, high note her throat decided enough was enough and she was cast into a fit of hacking and wheezing.

Meanwhile, in space Wangfred was busy looking at himself in the mirror trying to find out if pink really was his color. "I don't know. It just doesn't have that certain something..."

"I think it looks great on you," the computer said with unusual sweetness.

Wangfred's ears perked. "I don't like the way you said that Computer. It was too...nice."

"Can't a computer say something nice every once in a while?" the computer inquired. In all actuality the computer thought that Wangfred looked absolutely ridiculous in that pink uniform but was sincerely hoping (for lack of a better word) that Wangfred would meet his potential crewmembers in it and make a fool of himself.

"I guess," Wangfred said suspiciously. "Anyway, how much longer until we reach Amazonia?"

"We shall be arriving in a few hours," the Computer replied dutifully. "I'll let you know when we're in orbit." The computer went silent.

Wangfred continued to look at himself. "But Pink? For some reason I thought the Amazon's saw pink as the color of a man with..." He shrugged. "Oh well."

Back in Amazonia, the High Council has begun and Lyan is seen slouching in her seat looking utterly bored with herself. The High Council consisted of women far older than the dirt beneath their feet, who talked like their tongues were too thick for their skulls. Astoundingly enough, they all understood each other except Lyan.

"So we are in agreement to attempt peaceful negotiations with Marie, correct?" Lyan's mother asked and was answered by a series of mumbles and nodding of heads. "Then who will we send forward?"

Everybody's head moved over to Lyan and she was instantly on full alert. "You can't be serious! Do you have any idea how crazy that woman is? She'll kill me!"

"A risk I'm sure you're willing to take for us all, my dear," Lyan's mother said comfortingly and patted her daughter's hand. "It is your duty as the future Queen to do such things for your people." More mumbles and nodding of heads.

Suddenly, an arrow whizzed through the air and landed smack dab in the heart of one of the High Council members and the woman slumped over. "Oh my Goddess!" Lyan cried and rushed over to the old woman. "She's dead!"

"No... mm... she's not...," another Council member said and soundly smacked her fellow member's face. "Wake up Gytha! Mm... You forgot your medication again... mm.. haven't you?"

"What, huh?" Gytha looked over at everybody and wondered why they were looking so concerned then looked at the arrow pointing out of her chest. "Dear heavens, is this some sort of a joke?" Gytha demanded as she tugged out the arrow and examined the thick golden necklace that saved her life. "A dent. Bloody hell and this thing was a family heirloom too..."

"Look, there's a note," Lyan said as she took the arrow and read the note attached to it. "Well, it looks like I won't be going to my ultimate demise after all. Marie's army is at the border and will be ready to attack in a matter of hours..."
