Bad Love Poetry

Okay, this stuff is too bad to post, but I thought someone might get a kick out of them. I sat down to write a love poem from Gail to Clara while my cousin was down and doing something to the computer and this is part of what I came up with, which obviously won’t work, but I like them anyway. -- SB
  I adore you
More than I
Can ever say.
I don’t have
The words for
The emotions
Swimming through
My veins like
Mating salmon.
Plucking random
Phrases from the
Ether like a
Bear plucking
Salmon from
A stream and
Hoping they’re enough
To satiate you.

Monogamy is like
Moldy bread --
You don’t miss
It until you’ve
Thrown it away
And realize…
It can stave off VD.

When we’re together
I feel so alive.
Then it occurs to
Me I can breathe
Other times too.

***

Baby, you’re the best
Thing that’s ever
Happened to me.
Though getting hit
By that bus was
Kinda fun too.

I wish I could
Tell you what’s
In my heart.
But then I’d have
To kill you.

***

I wish I could
Tell you what’s
In my heart.
But I don’t
Remember all
The names of the
Ventricles and stuff.
